Sharks are aggressive carnivorous fish who live in the seas of Sahul. Sharks either hunt alone or in small groups. They are known for attacking people that they mistake for prey. A shark can reach speeds up to 25 kilometres per hour and go as deep as 1200 meters below the surface.

Sharks can reach between 3 to 6 meters in length and can weight over 2000 kilograms. Sharks display countershading, meaning that they have light undersides and dark upsides. This allows their undersides to blend with the sunlight and their upside to be camouflaged against the darkness of the see. Sharks have large robust snouts with which they can smell bloods from miles away. They have beady black eyes with which they search out their preys.
