The Sand sharks are large carnivorous fish with brown scales and counter shaded beige underbellies. They average at about 5 meters from snout to tail and weights in at around 890 kilograms. They have rows of sharp teeth, small beady black eyes, one main dorsal fins on their backs and a spike-like fin going over their backs.

After which the leather is dried of in the hot desert sun. Sand shark leather is a popular product on the markets of big sand ports such as Scorch Gate.
