Jaci is the maiden of the Indeko who decides the faith of mortals. She rules over the moon (named Indeko), the passage of time, and lovers. Despite the degree of Tenno, Jaci still tries to steer the world in small ways. She likes to guide living creatures to their fate by leaving small signs everywhere. These fates could be fortunate, like a soulmate or an adventure, or they contain nothing but death. Once she has decided that someone is about to die Jaci will send her daughter Barnumbirr to sing them to sleep into the dream.

Jaci takes special interest in mortals who use cunning and trickery for the good of other, like diplomats and adventures. This does not mean that Jaci doesn't have her own band of champions, those chosen by her are more aware of important events in time, being able to sense if their foes deserves mercy or execution and are even able to recall their own downfall.

Followers of Jaci are very vigilant against those of the god Hodge, for they believe the god is planning her demise for her theft of the Pillar of Time.

Holiday[]

Jaci is celebrated on the night of the crescent, which falls on the longest night. This night falls around the end of Spodius. On this night people celebrate the coming of spring and the different types of love they felt in the past year. Usually a woman invited the partners that she had that year to her house to celebrate. These partners come with handcrafted statues in the form of a crescent moon and small moon-shaped pastries as gifts for their hostess and ex-lover. When all guests have arrived the feast begins during which they eat, pray, and celebrate together. In their prayers the people thank Jaci for the good times they had. The night of the crescent moon also provides an opportunity for people to apologise to each other if their relationships didn't work out in the end.
